I'm about to head out the door but I wanted to mention a few things before I left.
This is looking nice! Fun stuff!
When he first pokes his head up, twist his head so that you either see both eyes or one. Only seeing a sliver of his right eye does not look so good. Your timing is even as the squirrel is looking around in the first 5 seconds. 1, 2, 3. Hold on two for another beat or half beat before he shifts his focus back to the cube. His excessive arm poses as he changes to these positions are unmotivated. I would tuck them in, or do something to show he is being cautious.
I don't know what he is doing at the 11 second mark. Maybe find a way to clear up that pose.
The middle pushing pose at the end isn't working yet. Dip him lower, cock his head screen right so he looks as if he is really pushing with his shoulder.
